The Race That Never Happened (But We Ran It Anyway)

Success isn’t about perfect conditions. It’s about showing up—especially when no one’s watching.

I grew up as a competitive swimmer.

The pool was my second home. Hours of training, early mornings, and relentless discipline led me to the 1988 Olympic Trials.

But years later, with a career, a family, and two little kids, getting to the pool became… impossible.

So I did something I never thought I’d do.

I started running.

It wasn’t love at first jog.

But a friend and I stuck with it, training together, pushing each other, and eventually, we decided to go all in—we signed up for a half marathon.

We followed the plan. Logged the miles. Built up our endurance.

And then?

Covid hit.

The race was canceled.

No finish line. No medals. No cheering crowds.

At that point, we had every excuse to stop.

But we didn’t.

Instead of quitting, we ran the race anyway.

Just the two of us, on the Rail Trail in Oro-Medonte.

No spectators, no big event—just commitment to the goal we set.

And when we hit the finish line?

Our families were there, holding homemade signs, cheering us on.

We didn’t quit.

And that’s what mattered.

Because success isn’t about perfect conditions.

It’s about showing up—even when no one’s watching.

And that’s exactly what separates successful fractionals from the ones who stay stuck.

Some wait for the perfect moment.
The perfect offer.
The perfect client to land in their inbox.

And when things don’t go as planned?

They stop.

But the ones who win?

They keep going.

They build their own opportunities.
They create systems that make success predictable.
They stay committed—even when no one’s cheering yet.

That’s exactly why I built Fractional in a Box.

It’s not about waiting for things to line up.

It’s about creating a repeatable system that attracts premium clients, builds demand for your expertise, and gives you full control over your pipeline.

And right now, I’m breaking it all down in my free webinar.

If you’re ready to stop waiting and start building something sustainable…
